My name is Jacob Souva and I’m an illustrator/author of picture books. I used to think I was cursed with a runaway imagination and silly day dreams, but now see them as the bits that make up great stories. I’m happy to not be cursed.

I‘m married with two sons, a very feisty corgi named Ruby, a cat with a sneezing problem, and a turtle named Michelangelo. We love to make our own pizza and have nerf wars. I always lose. We live in a small community in Upstate New York.

I’m an active member of SCBWI.
